Not medical care or medical advice

Harmonide is a private healthcare navigation and advocacy service. Harmonide's advocates may help organize records, create timelines, coordinate appointments, prepare questions, communicate documented next steps, support insurance and billing follow-up, and help families manage healthcare logistics.

Harmonide is not a medical practice. Unless a separate physician engagement is expressly established in writing, Harmonide does not diagnose medical conditions, interpret symptoms or test results, prescribe or recommend treatment, provide a medical second opinion, or direct clinical care. Information on this website or provided by a Harmonide advocate or digital tool is general informational and navigation support and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional who knows the patient's circumstances.

Do not start, stop, or change medication, treatment, testing, or follow-up based on this website, the Harmonide Guide, or a communication from a nonclinical advocate. Direct clinical questions to the treating clinician or a separately engaged licensed physician.

No emergency or crisis services

Harmonide does not monitor the website, forms, email, or the Harmonide Guide continuously and cannot respond to emergencies. Do not use any Harmonide channel for urgent symptoms, a medical emergency, or a mental-health crisis.

If you believe someone may be in immediate danger, call 911 or the applicable local emergency number immediately. In the United States, a person experiencing a suicide or mental-health crisis may also call or text 988. Outside the United States, contact the local emergency or crisis service.

No relationship created by visiting or contacting us

Visiting the website, using the Harmonide Guide, submitting a form, sending an email, requesting a call, or participating in a complimentary fit call does not create a client relationship, advocacy engagement, physician-patient relationship, or other professional relationship. A Harmonide advocacy engagement begins only after Harmonide accepts the matter and the client and Harmonide sign a written service agreement defining the scope, fees, responsibilities, and privacy practices.

Harmonide may decline a matter or determine that it is outside its capabilities, capacity, geographic availability, or permitted scope.

Physician consultations are separate

If a client needs individualized medical interpretation or advice, that work must be performed by an appropriately licensed physician through a separate engagement. The physician may be the client's existing clinician, an independent specialist, or a physician practice that has a disclosed relationship with Harmonide.

Any related physician engagement is never automatic. It has separate informed consent, eligibility and licensure review, a separate clinical record, separate fees, and applicable malpractice coverage. Harmonide will disclose a relevant relationship in writing, offer reasonable alternatives where available, and document the client's choice. A physician's professional judgment must remain independent.

Specialist and facility information

Harmonide may identify or help evaluate physicians, hospitals, treatment centers, or other resources using information available at the time and priorities provided by the client. This is navigation assistance, not a guarantee, endorsement, credentialing determination, or medical recommendation. Credentials, availability, insurance participation, quality information, costs, travel requirements, and outcomes may change and should be confirmed directly with the clinician, facility, and health plan.

The final decision to contact or use any clinician, facility, or service belongs to the client. Harmonide does not control and is not responsible for the independent acts or omissions of third-party clinicians, facilities, insurers, laboratories, pharmacies, travel providers, or other services.

Records and timelines

Harmonide may organize records and create a structured chronology based on documents and information received. A Harmonide timeline is an organizational aid; it is not an official medical record and does not replace review of the original source documents. Harmonide does not independently verify every fact in third-party records. Clients and treating clinicians should verify information before using it for medical decisions.

Any stated turnaround target, including a 72-hour target, begins only after Harmonide has received the records reasonably required for the agreed project. It is a service target, not a guarantee, and may be affected by incomplete records, third-party response times, technical issues, holidays, or case complexity.

Insurance, appeals, billing, and financial matters

Harmonide may help organize insurance information, track prior authorizations, assemble documents, communicate with authorized parties, and support billing or denial follow-up. Harmonide is not a health insurer, law firm, accountant, credit counselor, or licensed public adjuster. Harmonide does not guarantee coverage, authorization, reimbursement, reversal of a denial, reduction of a bill, collection results, financial assistance, or any particular outcome.

Legal, tax, credit, and financial decisions should be reviewed with an appropriately qualified professional. Deadlines remain the responsibility of the client unless a written service agreement specifically assigns a deadline to Harmonide.

The Harmonide Guide and artificial intelligence

The Harmonide Guide is a navigation and intake aid. It is not a clinician, does not know the full medical record, and is not authorized to make medical decisions. Digital tools—including artificial-intelligence systems—can misunderstand a question, omit important context, or produce incomplete, outdated, or incorrect information.

Do not use the Harmonide Guide to diagnose a condition, assess symptoms, determine whether care is urgent, select or change treatment, calculate medication doses, interpret a medical image or test result, or decide whether to ignore a clinician's advice. Any output that could affect medical care must be discussed with a qualified healthcare professional.

Harmonide does not use the Guide to make final medical decisions or solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. When the Guide is used for intake or navigation, a human reviews the information before Harmonide acts on it. Specialist selection, case acceptance, pricing, and escalation decisions must not be delegated solely to an automated system.

Do not enter medical records, images, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, insurance-member numbers, medical-record numbers, account numbers, payment-card information, or detailed health histories into the public website Guide. If Harmonide accepts an engagement, Harmonide will provide an approved secure method for records and sensitive information.

How the current Guide works: the current Harmonide Guide uses predefined routing logic and does not send the conversation to an external artificial-intelligence model. Entries remain in the browser during the interaction. If the user chooses to submit a call request, the routing selections and text included with that request may be transmitted with the form submission.

For information about how Guide inputs are handled, read the Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice.

International services and translations

Harmonide may assist with coordination and logistics for care across locations or countries. Harmonide does not guarantee admission, appointments, visas, travel authorization, insurance coverage, regulatory approval, clinical eligibility, treatment availability, or outcome. Medical services remain subject to the laws, professional standards, licensing rules, and independent judgment applicable where the patient and clinician are located.

Translations and multilingual communications are provided for convenience and coordination unless a written agreement states otherwise. They may not be certified medical or legal translations. The English version of website and legal terms controls to the extent permitted by law. Important medical, legal, or consent documents should be reviewed through a qualified interpreter or certified translator when appropriate.

No guarantees

Healthcare, insurance, scheduling, records retrieval, travel, and third-party decisions involve factors outside Harmonide's control. Harmonide does not promise a particular medical, financial, administrative, access, timing, or travel outcome.
