Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern access to harmonide.com and the public Harmonide Guide. By using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
These website Terms are not the client service agreement. If Harmonide accepts an advocacy engagement, a separate written service agreement will govern the services, scope, fees, privacy, responsibilities, and termination. If a service agreement conflicts with these website Terms regarding paid services, the service agreement controls.
Who may use the site
The website is intended for adults age 18 or older. A parent, guardian, healthcare proxy, or other representative who seeks help for another person represents that the representative has appropriate authority to provide information and request the proposed assistance. Do not impersonate another person or provide records without lawful authority.
Informational and nonclinical nature
Harmonide provides healthcare navigation and advocacy, not medical care. Website content and the Harmonide Guide are for general information and routing only and do not diagnose, prescribe, recommend treatment, or establish a physician-patient relationship. Review the Healthcare & AI Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms.
Emergencies
Do not use the website, Guide, forms, or email for emergencies. Harmonide does not continuously monitor these channels. Call 911 or the applicable local emergency number for an emergency.
Requests and acceptance
Submitting a form, using the Guide, requesting a call, or participating in a complimentary call does not require Harmonide to accept a matter and does not create an engagement. Services are available only where Harmonide is authorized and able to provide them. Harmonide may decline or limit a request based on scope, capacity, location, conflicts, safety, or other legitimate considerations.
User responsibilities
You agree to provide information you reasonably believe is accurate, identify material updates, review important dates and documents, maintain direct communication with treating clinicians, and use authorized methods when requesting or sharing another person's information. You remain responsible for medical decisions and for seeking timely professional care.
You may not use the website to violate law; infringe another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights; upload malicious code; probe or interfere with security; scrape or reverse engineer the site except as permitted by law; misrepresent identity or authority; send records you are not authorized to disclose; or use the Guide to create or deploy a clinical decision system.
Public forms, Guide, and communications
Do not submit medical records, images, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, insurance-member numbers, medical-record numbers, account numbers, payment-card information, or detailed medical histories through public forms or the public Guide. If an engagement is accepted, Harmonide will provide an approved method for sensitive information.
By requesting contact and providing contact information, you authorize Harmonide to respond to that request using the methods selected or supplied. Consent to be contacted about a request is not consent to marketing and is not a condition of purchasing a service. Email and text messages may not be completely secure; communication preferences and risks will be addressed in the service agreement where applicable.
Artificial-intelligence tools
The Harmonide Guide may use predefined logic or artificial intelligence to route a request, answer general navigation questions, or support intake. It may be incomplete or wrong. It is not a clinician, is not medical advice, and must not be used for diagnosis, urgency assessment, treatment selection, medication instructions, or interpretation of records, images, or test results.
Harmonide does not use the Guide to make final medical decisions or solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. A human must review intake information before Harmonide acts. Use of the Guide is also subject to the Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice.
Third-party information and links
The site may refer or link to clinicians, facilities, insurers, government resources, publications, travel services, or other third parties. Harmonide does not control third-party content, availability, security, privacy practices, or performance. A link or reference does not itself constitute endorsement. Confirm important information directly with the relevant third party.
Fees and paid services
Harmonide is a private-pay service unless a written agreement states otherwise. No paid work begins until the client receives and accepts a written scope and price. The website does not guarantee insurance reimbursement. Project fees, retainers, hourly work, cancellations, expenses, refunds, and payment terms are governed by the applicable written service agreement.
Intellectual property
The website, Harmonide name and marks, design, text, graphics, guides, workflows, and other original content are owned by Harmonide or used with permission and are protected by applicable law. You may view and print reasonable portions for personal, noncommercial use. You may not reproduce, publish, sell, create derivative commercial materials from, or use Harmonide branding without written permission.
If you provide feedback, you authorize Harmonide to use it without identifying you and without compensation, but Harmonide will not use consumer health data or confidential client information as public feedback without separate permission.
Website availability and changes
Harmonide may change, suspend, or discontinue website features and may correct errors without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation or that website content is complete, current, or suitable for a particular purpose.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the public website, Guide, and general content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, availability, or outcome. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so these exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Harmonide and its owners, personnel, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the public website, Guide, or general content. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Liability relating to an accepted paid engagement is governed by the written service agreement and applicable law.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice explain how we handle information and are incorporated into these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the U.S. state in which Harmonide's legal entity is organized — which will be identified here when the entity is finalized — without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another jurisdiction's law must apply. Any mandatory consumer right remains unaffected.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes apply prospectively as required by law.
